My Fiance and I had the priviledge to experience a more than wonderful evening at The Old Warsaw Restaurant. When we heard that this restaurant had the best French-Continental cuisine that the metroplex had to offer, we knew that we had to try it ourselves. When we arrived, we were greeted by a gentle valet man and escorted to a beautiful candle-lit dining room where a violinist and pianist filled the restaurant with the most pleasing live music. Our 5-course dinner began with the Lobster Bisque for me and the brie cheese soup for my fiance. The taste and creamy texture of both were exquisite. Next, I had the Old Warsaw Salad and my fiance had the greek salad, which to him was the best salad he ever had. oUr appetizers consisted of the Lobster cocktail and crab cake. The fresh, top-qualit seafood in our appetizers was superb! My fiance ad I could only anxiously await what more flavors the Old Warsaw would be able to offer when we were pleasantly surprised at the moment we tasted the subtle sweetness of made-from-scratch sorbet. An instant later, we were presented with our main entrees. I had the rib eye while my fiance had the lobster thermidor. Both entrees were prepared to perfection and there was no doubt that the utmost attention was paid to the most minor of details. Once again we were amazed at how delicious everything tasted. Our evening could only be topped with the most excellent desserts. I found the bananas foster, made tableside, to be irresistible, and my fiance loved her chocolate souffle. After such a fantastic evening, there is no wonder why this first-class restaurant has been around for 58 years, it is exceptional!
