Great Argentinean; come hungry. 1/6/2008

It's always a good sign when you walk into a place in the East Village and instead of being packed with hipsters and/or yuppies, there are large groups of families.\r \r If you're going to a traditional Argentinean place, you should know what to expect: MEAT, and lots of it. The skirt steak, the shell, the sweetbreads, and the chorizo were all outstanding, and the chimichurri was lovely and garlicky. Good wine list without pretension (the Malbec blend I had was excellent, and the dessert wines are fab and reasonably priced) and I loved the caramel crepe I ordered for dessert. \r \r Service was excellent, on a busy weekend night. Pros: Good food, good service Cons: Small tables, cramped quarters (but you're in the Village!) more
