This place really does have the best French food in the area. Scones are wonderful as well as the ham and gruyere sandwich, stuffed baguettes, coffee-I could go on. For those looking for ""cheap"" food-you are obviously in the wrong area! A SPECIALTY store in CARY is not going to be around the Wal-Mart price range-you pay for QUALITY. It is by no means any more expensive than you would expect-very reasonable, actually. Also, I have never had bad service-on the contrary, we're always greeted pleasantly when we enter. The bakery also provides a few little tables in front to eat on-also quite a nice experience and as close to France as you are going to get around these parts. I don't think there is any problem bringing kids in here-I have been in on numerous occasions where well-behaved children didn't get a second glance from the staff. On the whole, highly recommended-a MUST if you live in or are visiting Cary.
