First off ,they don't give industry discounts, so if you work BOH or FOH anywhere you will not get a discount. Our waiter seemed nervous or incompetent I couldn't figure it out. The crab cake appetizer was pasty with all the breadcrumb filler. Scattered throughout the bread cake were bits of unseasoned crab and bell pepper. Disappointing! Nothing stood out about it, I would have sent it back, but I was hungry. The lobster bisque is too rich, a result of over-reducing the cream(kitchen cooks do not taste the food as it cooks.) The Halibut entree was well seasoned, which is uncommon. Unfortunately the menu desrcription did not say capers, or I would have asked for very few or on the side. So the fish was smothered in some white wine cream sace loaded with capers, somehow the sauce still lacked real flavor and depth. The vegetable sides were nothing special, the creamed corn was cold. The china they use looks very corparate and unappealing. The bread was obviously store bought, old half stale and needed salt. The only highlight was the baked potato. Is the waiter supposed to offer sour cream, chives etc? If he is we didn't see it. Waste of time, stay home and cook a HEB steak. Pros: downtown Cons: Bread, sauces lacked flavor, pricey for the quality, snobby hostess more
