My experience here could not have been better. I brought my dog here after days of not eating and lethargy and seeing other vets who just didn't know what was wrong with him. His paws and mouth were also cold. By the time I got him to Angell he couldn't stand up. They rushed out to take him to their ICU, the vet was so helpful and caring that she carried him since he wouldn't go on the stretcher (he is 50 pounds).\r
They found that he has a rare disease that is usually not detected unless the dog (or person) goes into a crisis from it. He was having a crisis and by the time I got him there was going into Septic Shock. Due to their competence he was diagnosed with Addison's Disease and will now live a normal life. He made such a miraculous recovery that I was able to take him home the next night. He went from being hours from death to returning back to the lively, loveable dog that he is.\r
I simply cannot thank the staff at Angell Memorial enough. If you are having an emergency
