My regular vet referred me to Dr. Ray Rudd at the Braelinn Village Animal Hospital for more extensive testing on my dog to diagnose his illness. At first, I was impressed by his attitude and thoroughness in his attempts to treat my dog. When my dog?s health continued to decline, he performed exploratory surgery on him and the lab results confirmed Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD). Dr. Rudd would not accept these results and continued to insist my dog had liver cancer?even had the biopsy cut two times. A feeding tube was inserted to assist my dog in getting the nutrition and medicine he needed to treat the IBD. The tube began leaking and on four occasions this was brought to the attention of Dr. Rudd and his staff and they would only say they didn?t know why it was leaking. The tube finally came completely out of my dog?s stomach and he developed peritonitis.
