Seriously, I live in Boston with some of the best non-chain pizza in the world and I order from Papa Johns?! In my defense, having just moved to Brighton, I don't know any pizza places around here so I thought I'd go with a place I ""knew"". I don't know if it was just this particular Papa John's or if after 3 years of not having Papa John's (since moving away from Tennessee), I had romaticized the place's food. But, man, this pizza was terrible. We had 2 pizzas, a thin crust and one of their new pan pizzas. The thin crust was over-cooked and dried out without much flavor. The pan pizza was a mushy, nasty mess. We threw 3/4/ of it away and only ate the rest of the thin crust one because we were starving. I am never, no matter how desperate, going to order from Papa John's again. I recommend you don't either. I'll write some rec's for other pizza places here in Brighton when I've been able to try them. Wish me luck!
