On March 17, 2007, I bought 4 new private brand (Warrior) tires from DeKalb Tire. These tires are made by Michelin. I discussed a road hazard warranty with the man behind the counter and indicated that I wanted to make sure that I had this warranty. \r

A tire went flat while I was driving down I-85 on a Friday evening. A good samaritan stopped to help me change the tire. The next morning, I got up very early to get to DeKalb Tire to get the flat repaired. They informed me that it was non-repairable. They further informed me that they didn't have my tires instock, nor did any of their other locations. One final thing: a road hazard warranty was not on my purchase receipt as a separate line item, so I did not get the warranty that I asked for when I bought the tires. I was going to have to BUY a new tire. The guy said that they had a truck coming in on Monday, and they could call to let me know if the tire I needed came in. Yeah, he really thought I was dumb enough to spend more money there! I said no thanks, I will go somewhere else, and I drove straight over to Kaufman Tire. I cannot imagine ever going back to DeKalb Tire again. I think they thought I was just a woman and had just hatched yesterday. Sorry, but they tried to mess with the wrong person.
