Went on 09-09-07 @ 7:20 PM, the owner was not on duty. We have had problems in the past, but the owner seemed to be working hard to address the issues. I order a large Pepperoni Pizza, and I wanted it done. I asked the young man to please repeat what my order, because I wanted him to KNOW I wanted it done. He did, said it would be right and be ready in 20 minutes.\r

At about 7:50 the young man who took my order started asking around behind the counter. ""Dude, do you know where that guy's pizza is?"" They milled about for a few minutes and he went to the person slinging pies. They put a pie in the oven and about 10 minutes later they boxed a pizza. The young man told me my order was ready. I walked up and asked if it was done as I opened the box. He nodded yes. I picked up a slice and the cheese ran off of the pizza like cold ice down a steel slide on a hot summer playground. A pool of goo started to seep from the other pieces as the puddle grew in the center of the box. He just blanched. I asked him if this is what I ordered, and he said without a blink, ""No sir, but I can make another one in 20 minutes.""\r

I asked for a refund and for the charge to be put back on my credit card. He said, ""I am going to give you cash because it is easier."" He then gave me $15.50; the charge was for $15.59. Now, I am not going to pitch a fit over $0.09 here, but I think that really hits to the root of the problem. The employees at Doughboy's would rather do what is easy than what is right. They would rather lie to a customer and hope they walk out the door than to take responsibility for their actions by making a quality product. They would rather goof off and have a good time amusing themselves then give a second thought about the customer?s time.\r

A good restraunt is measured by its quality AND consistency. Getting a good pizza every now and again, or getting delivery on time occasionaly just does not cut it. It is truely a shame I will not be returning to Doughboy's.
Pros: They Can Make a Quality Product
Cons: They Can't Make a Quality Product Consistently
