Avoid this company! At South Bay Appliance the rule of the day is the customer is always wrong. The repair person they sent was almost impossible to understand due to a language barrier. When I called their number, the phone was often busy. When I did get through, I was put on hold for a long time. After the repair person came to my house, they failed to follow up to let me know when the part for my broken appliance would arrive. Then, when I called to inquire after waiting almost two weeks, they said they had ""no idea"" when the part would arrive and said they could not call the manufacturer to get an estimated date of arrival. Nor could they provide me with a number for the manufacturer so I could try to find out myself. It was some of the worst service I have ever experienced. South Bay Appliance's attitude can be summed up as follows: ""It's not our problem, it's yours. We'll get to it when we can and don't ask any questions in the meanwhile."" I ended up having to use an entirely different company to get the job done. more
