Dining here is a cross between going to a local hangout and going to the dining hall at summer camp. Any time of the year it is pretty, serene and placid here. They are quite informal and don't accept reservations, but ask if you can have one of the tables with a lake view. The downside is it's in the smoking section. The upside is the view and the critters. You never know what you'll see.....from Canada geese to blue herons, it's a nature lover's paradise. Be sure to take in a stroll around the lake after dinner, and wear flat shoes! This place is not made for heels. Don't be suprised to have a furry escort back to your car. Several friendly neighborhood pups seem to know the way here. That's the beauty of this place. Come as you are...everyone will feel welcome!
Pros: The view, quantity and quality of food
Cons: Too few servers, outdated decor
