My husband and I were out for a double celebration; our first night living in LA and our 2 month wedding anniversary. We just sort of showed up to see what would happen...we approached from the inside where the 2 door men told us that entrance was for hotel guests only. So we walked around the front to where there were 4 bouncers, I was suprised to find there was no line or anything. My husband asked them if they had room for 2 more? The bouncer asked us if we had reservations, which we said we didn't...he then asked if we had anyone else coming. I assured him we didn't as "we are from Canada and don't know anyone here" and his reply was "I guess we have room for 2 more then EH?"..lol...picking on us being Canadian. But then we were in. We headed up to the upper bar and asked what it cost for a VIP booth (there were a few open)...the waitress gave some rediculous price so we just ordered a bottle of champage...once we did that she said we could "sit in the one booth until the people who reserved it showed up" LOL...so we did. They never showed up. We had one more bottle of champagne....they were supposed to be $175 a bottle....boy was I surprised when I saw my credit card bill the next day for $650!!! So, I still have to follow up on that one....I will update my review once I get to the bottom of that!
Otherwise the service was good, the view was amazing, it wasn't too crowded and us 2 nobody's got in with no problem.
Pros: amazing view, nice atmosphere, good service
Cons: got ripped off on my bill!
