I never would have guessed that going to counseling could accomplish what I was able to do working with Dr. Georgia Bichekas. I was suffering from anxiety and depression as well as fibromyalgia and convinced that I would spend the rest of my life that way. I wasn't planning on going to counseling but a friend recommended Georgia and the Adlerian Center because she had heard that Georgia specialized in what I had. I figured it wouldn't hurt to go one time. Well I got more hope and more information about what was happening to me and what I could do about it than in all the time up to then. She taught me about supplements to take and things about nutrition and how to manage my anxiety and depression until we could finish the work of getting rid of them.
Pros: I feel like I have a new lease on life.
Cons: Therapy can be painful to go through.
