We've lived in the area for a while, and had never been. Decided to go for our first time the other night.
Contrary to what I had heard, the bartenders were very helpful. They helped make our experience better. In addition, the cramped accomodations force you to mix it up with people - which is great, reminded me of some old English bar in the UK.
The burger was very good, as were the fries and the bartenders recommendation of beers. However, 2 burgers, 2 pints and a large fry cost $47 w/tip. Not to mention, the next morning I couldn't stop running to the bathroom.
Yes, it is a great burger. Yes, they have great beers. Do it once for the sake of "experiencing something wonderful", but as to making it a regular stomping ground? Eh...
