I love cupcakes so when I discovered Cupcake Lane, I was excited. The first visit, the cakes were dry and tasted like they were from a mix - the red velvet especially tasted odd... The second visit, (b/c I always give a place at least a couple chances) I was disappointed to find the same - everything just tasted artificial - like they don't use real butter or something ... I waited a good two months before finally going back - this time, the product was still the same blah yukcakes, but they had raised their prices!!!! I don't mind paying extra if a something is worth it, but these cupcakes, in my book, definitely aren't worth it.
Pros: cute, at best
Cons: dry, blah, overpriced
