A family member suggested that I get a facial as I had been having symptoms of dermatillomania, or picking of the skin of the face. As a peformer, I had been applying heavy stage make-up six days a week. Not only was my skin a mess but I felt ashamed that in tying to ""get rid"" of blemishes, I was in fact scarring myself!\r
Luckily, I saved my face at Spa Radiance. My esthetician Christina helped me immensly by making me feel comfortable and not ashamed. She told me that this skin condition was more common than I had though and set up a regime for me to follow morning, noon and night. Every time I felt like picking, I did something good for my skin instead!\r
She gave me a gentle chemical peel which made my skin glow and she explained everything that she did so I could mimic the spa facial at home. Her approach was sensitive and thorough.\r
People who haven't seen me in a while comment on how beautiful I look now and I am free to let my face shine.
