I went to maxime over a year ago now, because of the better than newbury street advertising. The ambiance was lovely... i was served coffee, but when it was finally time for the hair cut, the gal (owner), tutored me in different types of styles for my face, etc, then proceeded to give me the cut I ""shouldn't"" have - which wasn't what I was looking for to begin with... It wasn't a good cut, and I ultimately needed to have it cut again in a couple weeks because I just couldn't make it work. Very expensive, and just not worth it. At the time I think a simple cut was $70-ish.
