This is the second year we've had dealings with First Student Inc.. Last year we didn't receive the pick-up and drop-off times for our kindergartner until the day before school started. This is very inconvenient for working parents who need to know if they should enroll their child in morning/afternoon childcare. One childcare facility in particular didn't receive the schedule until 4:30pm the day before school began. They also didn't pick up my child on the first day of school...despite his presence in uniform, backpack and parents standing out at the end of the driveway. We even tried to wave her down but she just drove past. Apparently, even though we received a post card (the day before school started) our address wasn't on her list. Sigh.
Pros: Bus drivers were nice
