I would NOT recommend this restaurant at all! Even though Mura is fairly expensive, my husband and I chose to come here for dinner - we had a $50 coupon for this restaurant and decided to make use of it. (*Note - we have used coupons from this reputable restaurant website many, many times and have NEVER had a problem; every restaurant has accepted them and Mura is the ONLY one who would not - SEE BELOW!). Aside from this fact, our meal was just so-so; the sushi boat we ordered was good but lacking in variety and our waiter was terrible! He was not knowledgeable about the menu and appeared to have no experience. In an upscale restaurant like Mura, you would think that only experienced staff would be hired - not so in this case. However, we were polite and courteous throughout the meal and did not voice these thoughts to our waiter or management. Furthermore, upon receiving the bill for our meal and presenting our coupon, we were informed - first by the waiter and then the manager - that our coupon would NOT be honored. As mentioned above, we have used these coupons when dining out in the Triangle (and at places more expensive than Mura and for the same amount) and they've always been accepted - without question. The manager insisted/argued that Mura would not honor the coupon at all - period. We were shocked, disappointed and amazed at their lack of understanding and professionalism! The RIGHT thing to do would have been to graciously honor the coupon thereby providing excellent customer service and perhaps repeat business - I know we would have given them another chance). Instead, Mura chose to go the other route - they obviously are not concerned with MANY customers patronizing their establishment. Too bad because word-of-mouth is very important! We will NOT be back - EVER! Customer service is of utmost importance and you will not find it here. I give Mura ONE STAR :(
Pros: Nice decorations and atmosphere
Cons: Very poor customer service, inexperienced wait-staff
