Since they moved locations it seems to be more like the Nickelodeon TV channel exploded inside and less like a science museum. It still has some fun and interesting things but science takes a back seat to entertainment. As an example, the last time I was there they have now even closed the Planetarium but the IMAX is ready to go for a fee. The prices are not cheep and the special events are not so special. Gone are the days of large areas of hands on experiments. I recently went to a similar place in Miami Florida and it reminded me so much of old COSI my wife and I had a blast. However, If you have really young children, the area for them is great.
