Went to Wild Wheat on 6-24-07 specially for the Stolen Bread French Toast. This was my fifth visit to Wild Wheat. The Stolen French Toast was on the specials list but we were told by the waitress that were out of the bread used to make this dish. I recognized the waitress from previous visits and informed her that the Stolen French Toast was also sold out the last time I visited. I told the Hostess that I wish to speak to the manager. The Hostess returned a few minutes later and asked if there was anything she could do to ""make our day better"". I reiterated that I wish to speak with the manager. We ordered food, eat and paid the bill but the manager NEVER came over to speak with us. Being out of a dish is acceptable. Being out the bread used to make french toast at a bakery (twice) is quite odd. The manager refusing to speak with me is unacceptable. I will not return anytime soon.
Pros: Waitstaff was friendly
Cons: Manager was unwilling to speak with us about our concerns
