The Blue Horn Lounge is a wonderful place to go with friends or by yourself. The first time I went there I was pleasantly surprised at the atmosphere. The bartenders are friendly and can make great drinks that I have found not to taste so good at other places. It is more upscale, with drinks on the menu that you can't find in most of the other bars on Franklin Street. There is nothing on tap, but the selection of beers is quite vast. The bathroom is clean and roomy, something I look for in a place that I frequent! The people in there seemed to be between early 20's and late 50's. There are 3 plasma tv's that we watched the NHL playoffs on and we could see from every part of the bar. It is the neighborhood bar where you get the feeling everyone could know your name if you stopped in every so often. The 2 owners made it even more personable because they were there and personally greeted people as they came in. Apparently the live music during the week is quite wonderful. I intend to check it out. I think you should too.
