I went to Yatai on a weekday after reading some reviews on citysearch. The restaurant was hidden and surprisingly quiet in the Sunset nightlife. The decor was mostly red and dressed up in asian furniture. They were playing hip Indie/house music. It was a cozy but trendy atmosphere. I cuddled with my girlfriend on the patio smoking a cigarette and lazily watched the black and white film (a Jim Jarmusch film!) reflecting on the wall. The food was memorable and the night was perfect. I am definitely hooked.
