Earl's was recommended to me by a friend. The first time I took my car in, they failed to fix the problem. The second time, they charged me even more, and when I went to pick up the car, the total was even more than they had told me on the phone. the receptionist noted the construction of a new garage and thanked my for my contribution! Just what I wanted to hear after having to pay an unexpected additional $100! When I got home, I noticed that the car was leaking oil, there was a big metal file laying in the engine compartment, and in spite of the mechanic promising to clean up the engine, it was a mess. When I called to let them know, they asked for me to bring it back in, but there was no way I was bringing my car back there. I spent about $1,500 there, and I regret it.
