I'm writing this review because I couldn't believe what the prior reviewer was saying. After our wonderful experience at Cinetopia, it was obvious that this woman's Valentine evening coincided with another monthly experience. She couldn't find anything right with Cinetopia, and we couldn't find anything wrong with this amazing place. \r
I'll start with the food....Excellent! Everything that we ordered, from the appetizer all the way to the obligatory movie popcorn (in this case with butter and white cheddar), was perfect. The atmosphere and all the help were wonderful. I don't know wine, but my girlfriend found what is now here favorite (by way of a very intuitive suggestion by one of the servers). I now know that she likes ""Ice Wines"". \r
Now we'll get to what I know. I'm a ""technocrat"". This movie experience is as close to phenomenal as you can get. The theaters are digitally projected with a resolution that allows the audience to actually see things like the thread pattern in the clothing that the actors are wearing...the eyelash that's out of place. This visual, coupled with the fact that in the (what I believe they call) living room theaters, all of the seats offer a completely unobstructed view of the huge screen, make this truly something to see. That's only half of it. I've been an audio engineer since recording consoles were steam powered and I've never heard sound in a theater that was better than that of Cinetopia. Smooth, Accurate, Powerful and true to what the director had in mind for the audience.\r
On a scale of 1 to 10, our experiece was somewhere way above the scale. We were totally delighted.
