I've had only positive experiences at Bella 4/4/2007

Unlike the other reviewers, I've had only positive experiences at Bella - six positive visits, to be exact, and I'm a very picky foodie.\r \r The Food: The Napoleon flatbread is delicious, if you like spice, try the suausage & peppers, the Bella salad is great, the Spinaci ravioli is solid, the chicken piccatta is delightful, and any entree that includes the Bella potatoes is sure to be good. Two foodie friends from NYC visited at Thanksgiving, and both had great meals. My parents and boyfriend celebrated my birthday there during brunch on Christmas Eve - everything was exceptional during that visit. It is most definitely NOT is the same eschelon as Olive Garden!\r \r The Service: I've had moderate to fabulous service at each visit. Usually it depends on the day of the week, the time of the visit, etc. I've had some veteran servers, and some that are slightly awkward - I guess I didn't expect anything out of the ordinary - it is the suburbs, after all. As a former server, I saw nothing that raised my ire.\r \r The Ambience: It IS a little loud a times. The DJ has the music a little too high during the dinner hour - I expected it to much quieter at 8PM. The decor is very chic. For a romantic dinner, reserve early and ask for one of the round booths. As for the ""wannabe"" aspect - it is Blaine, after all. Not exactly a hipster stronghold. If you're visiting to ""be seen"", then you picked the wrong part of the metro.\r \r ALl in all, I really have enjoyed Bella, and I will continue to return. Pros: Selected menu items, ambience Cons: Music a little too loud during the dinner hour more
