AArggh! We had a huge convention at this center. The room in which they held our meetings was poorly designed for just such an event. Most times (99%) we didn't understand any of the speakers because their voices would just bounce off the high ceiling and walls and come back at us like a runaway train. Thank goodness for the huge t.v. screens and our undiscovered (until now) abilities to READ LIPS. The convention center itself was not badly located. Close enough to small cafes and restaurants and shops. But again, and I reiterate this most emphatically.....if you need to gather somewhere to hear an important speech, have a seminar, etc. please encourage your constituents to book somewhere else!!!
