I found Todd's from searching the Citysearch website and, even though it was a litle drive from the strip where we were staying, it was well worth it. It was about a 10 minute drive toward Henderson and it resides in a little strip mall and you know that it is a locals place, because otherwise you probably wouldn't know about it. Ashley was our server and offered great advice and suggestions from the menu. We skipped the appetizer as we had a late lunch and expected the portions to be adequate and we were right. \r
My husband had the ahi tuna with mashed potatoes - it was wonderful. I had the kobe skirt steak on fire with chili cheese fries - what a unique combination and it was delicious! \r
The service was excellent!\r
The wine list was very good - I had a couple of unique martinis that were delicious and we had a wonderful dessert. This competes with anything on the strip for much less $$$$. \r
The ambience was charming and quaint, but if we wanted to be impressed with design we would have paid 2 or 3 times as much and dined in one of the overpriced restaurants in the big hotels. \r
It was a nice diversion and worth the little jaunt!
Pros: Excellent service and delicious entrees!
Cons: In a strip mall 10 minutes from the strip.
