I really enjoyed this India inspired spa. It is in a cozy home, but decorated just beautifully and professionally. You feel like you are in the home of a girlfriend who has very good taste. The waiting room is the living room, so it's not really a relaxation room, but the owner serves you tea and ghee with crackers. The treatment rooms are upstairs and are beautifully decorated. You change in the bedrooms or the bathroom.
I received a massage and Shirodhara. The technician was very knowledgeable and skilled. The one drawback is that I'm used to the Shirodhara being done in a regular day spa, which usually includes a fantastic head and scalp massage and washing of the hair, it did not at this spa. I'm sure what they did is more in line with Indian practices, but I missed the head massage.
This is a great spa if you are looking for a change of pace. The owner is a great hostess and very knowledgeable. This spa really gave me a centered and calm feeling. I felt very balanced, mind and soul, when I left.
Pros: You feel great when you leave!
