While the location can be central for a lot of folks living on this side of the city, I would not recommend this hospital for your pet . After going to a new vet, I discovered Arguello Hospital had talked me into spending more than needed on unnecessary tests, they were comparitively way too expensive, and ultimately never did diagnose my animal accurately. The care isn't that good, the staff is not that friendly, not compassionate - and ultimately they were not able to help my pet at all. Also, my cat who was pretty good about the vet, but is beyond frighteneded these days to go, after we went to Arguello several times. I don't know how they treated my cat behind closed doors, but it had a lasting impact on my kitty for sure.... Skip it
Pros: Convenient location for back side of city (though parking is extremly tough)
Cons: Too expensive, staff is not friendly, they don't follow up well, and ultimately poor diagnosis.
