This was the worst experience I've ever had with a contractor. They installed a kitchen floor and counter top for me.\r
\r
When installing the kitchen floor, they failed to line it up correctly with the walls. There was a half inch space between the tile and wall at one spot. They took down the moldings and then just hammered them back up- damaging every single one. Because the floor was higher, the door to the laundry room wouldn't close. I was told, ""We don't do doors.""\r
\r
The counter top was worse. The molding on the edge didn't line up. They broke the tile at the back of the range, and then just piece it together and glued it in. I had to pay extra for them to fit the sink and range in. While trying to do this, they broke the glass on the range door. Worse, the new ""hole"" for the range was cut wrong, and it wouldn't fit. They left the light switches and electrical outlets hanging loose on the backsplash... they said, ""We don't do that."" \r
\r
They left a pile of debris on the patio that was so big, garbage collection refused to pick it up.\r
\r
It took a dozen phone calls and a month for them to get back in and take care of the problems. They kept saying, ""We'll be there Thursday,"" then never show up. Ultimately, after numerous confrontations, they came and fixed the large problems. I was so sick of making phone calls that I fixed the minor stuff myself.\r
\r
Again, this was the worst experience I've ever had with a contractor. Please check other online reviews and government agencies to review their status before choosing them.
Pros: Can't think of any
Cons: Poor workmanship, poor customer service
