Behind the rather unmarked entrance in the basement, lies the feeling of a true wine cellar complete with semi-musty smell. Racks of wine bottles line the right wall, straight ahead are glass-doored refrigerators with varying import/craft/microbrewed beers, and to the left is the bar. The beer selection is always changing with the seasons, but there's always something new. The bartender's are very knowledgeable and can point you in the direction of something newly in or perfectly suited to your tastes. On Friday and Saturday nights, it gets packed - the bar and all the tables. However, even on weekdays late at night (open til 2 am every night) it can be quite crowded, which goes to show that it has quite a following and keeps people coming back. Try one of Stone Brewing's beers or one of the new wines the bartender recommends - they're sure to be a great tasting experience if not a fantastic wine/beer.
