Special sensors reduce window fogging and increase climatic comfort by means of interior moisture management. Based on the data provided by the moisture and temperature sensor, the dew point temperature of the air is calculated in the climate control unit. The temperature at the windscreen is measured contactlessly via the infrared radiation sensor. To prevent the windscreen from fogging over, the electronic climate control regulates the temperature of the windscreen so that it is higher than the dew point temperature of the air.
