A really excellent dining experience. The restaurant is pleasant and pretty, the drinks were tasty, and the food was spectacular. Face it, Wolfgang's minions know how to run a restaurant. Don't let the ""celebrity chef"" moniker throw off, it's just a great spot, hands down.\r

The food focuses on fresh, local (if possible) ingredients, and the flavor combinations were creative and all incredibly tasty. The appetizers were all fantastic, with incredibly fresh and tasty sashimi prepared in beatiful style. My beef was some of the best i've ever had, perfectly seasoned and prepared. The wine list was surprisingly varied in both content and price, which gave us lots of options. One standout is that the service was truly excellent, as our waiter gave us great recommendations, was attentive but not overbearing, and made the whole experience quite fun.\r

Sure, it's really expensive. But everything is on Maui, and if you have the cash, Spago is worth the price.
