My husband and I used to go to Red Ginger once every couple of months on the weekend to see my favorite jazz band Chill 7. The last time we were there, almost a year ago, we sat ourselves in the bar area and waited...and waited...and waited. We sat for 10 minutes without so much as an acknowledgement that we were there. There were only 4 other tables with customer's at the time! Even the band noticed because they made a comment as we were walking out the door. We haven't been back since. It's a shame. I love Red Ginger. The food is fabulous. It was so nice to have a place where you could enjoy dinner, cocktails and jazz without having to go downtown.
