The salon prides itself with high fashion cuts and innovative, creative new techniques. However, many of the styles and techniques can be found elsewhere. For example, the balayage technique gets a lot of hype there. It's used in many, less expensive places around Atlanta and is falsely made out to be some highly exclusive, mysterious technique. It's just the French noun for highlighting and it's been around for a while. Every time I've gotten my hair done here, I end up looking like an over-done pageant girl. Many of the hairstyles I see on the stylists and other customers just look plain trashy. They believe so much in their own hype and create a very, very unwelcoming environment. Oh, they also charge you an arm and a leg.
