I was recently a bridesmaid and this store did a very poor job with everything from customer service to the dresses. First off - a few of the dresses came in about two to four inches shorter than standard length and had to be re-ordered. The dresses that were re-ordered came in with spots on them. Since the re-orders came in less than two weeks before the wedding - there was nothing to do but clean them and hope for the best. Unfortunately - we didnt realize until the day of the wedding that the re-ordered dresses were not the same color as the rest of the dresses (about three shades darker). All the dresses should have been re-ordered to ensure consistency and Amelishan should have known that (and likely did). Many of the dresses had zippers that went diagonal across the back - poorly constructed overall. The most frustrating part of the situation was that when the re-orders came in - they did not check to be sure they were appropriate length and after spots were discovered on one - didnt be sure that the rest were free of spots (which they were not). The store consistently did not take responsibility for the mistakes, did not offer any sort of discount even though I made five different trips out there (from half hour away) for the dress and since the re-order came in so close to the wedding - I had no choice but to use their grossly overpriced alterations department. Each time i called - I had to re-explain the story to try to get some help and the women at the store were for the most part, snotty and condescending to the bridesmaids who were trying to fix the various issues with the dresses. The only reason the dresses came out okay at all were on account of efforts by the bride, her mom and the bridesmaids. Amelishan was unprofessional , carries low quality dresses and does not take responsibility for their products, mistakes or poor customer service. I would never use this store - they are lacking on every front and were unpleasant to deal with.
