I went here with my boyfriend and his mom because i was craving Mexican food. We arrived around 5pm and since it was pretty early the place was pretty empty. We were seated by the hostess, who seemed pretty ditzy, and she took our drink orders. My boyfriend asked what imported beers they had, and she replied..."I really don't know, Budweiser, Coors...." He asked for a Dos Equis or Pacifico and was given the later. The chips were good, but the salsa tasted like brands you would buy in jars at the grocery store. Not authentic at all. We ordered our food, which was not very authentic at all & not that good, and we were half way done with eating the waitress brought our check and just placed it on the table and we never saw her again. What happens if we wanted to dessert or another beer? We weren't going to get it now. So we tried to finish our meal, it became too gross for me to finish, and decided to chit chat since my boyfriend and i were leaving shortly after the meal. Like I had mentioned, we arrived early so it wasn't like we were hogging up the table and people were waiting to be seated. We finally got up (we really only sat there for an extra 15 minutes) and I used the bathroom. When I came out, my boyfriend told me that the ditzy hostess came up to them and asked them if they were ready to leave yet!!!!! They told them that they were waiting for me to get out of the bathroom and she just walked away. Very rude service, and ok food. Not authentic at all!
Pros: More than one basket of chips
Cons: service & food
