Thankfully I went to Shane first and Geller and Sons second. Shane was alright-the sales lady didn't seem like she thought i wanted to buy something so she didn't put that much effort into me. the prices at Shane seemed alright comparing to stores online. I was going to buy there but I decided to drive down the block to Geller just in case. The sales lady was really nice-she made me laugh and feel really comfortable. She asked me where I had been looking and I told her about the ring from Shane that I liked. She actually pulled the same setting from the case and it was just alittle higher than Shane. They didn't have the .9 ct diamond that I was looking at Shane but she then asked ""what if I can get you a real carat diamond for the same price as the smaller one?"" Of course I jumped on it-we found a diamond which she matched Shane's price even though it was alot bigger, and she beat the price of Shane's setting by 10% which came to a 125 off. The best part is i went to shane and compared the ring I bought at D. Geller and the same Shane Ring was $2000 more! I was pleased.
Pros: great price, nice low key salespeople, offered drink, ring done while you wait
Cons: none
