I was impressed when I made the initial call because they have an elaborate phone system and professional customer courtesy. I was kind of shocked however when Bill the Ventura County sales rep walked up to our house. He was dressed very well and looked like I was not going to be able to afford the services of his company. Regardless, after taking several other bids my wife and I decided to go with Ambrosia because they are licensed and bonded contractors plus they are very very very professional. They were around the middle of the price scale. Everybody else was haphazard with pencils and sketches while Ambrosia provided us with wonderful CAD drawings and computer rendered theoretical photos of what our window design would look like. It took longer than I would have liked but I am still so impressed along with our friends and family who walk by our custom window and continue to comment on how well it was designed to fit within our existing interior decor. I suppose my window was so nice that they actually posted it on their official website ambrosiaglassworks dot com . This is my first time ever to work with a stained glass company. I also called them in to provide some new cabinet door glass inserts and glass shelves. They also provide some interesting and unique carpentry solutions for various items around the home. I recommend the in home consultation versus the in studio consult because you can see the glass samples better in the lighting of the actual application. We made the mistake of visiting the studio first and realized that the lighting there was far different than what was actually in our home. The light makes a big difference when looking at glass.
