I booked a room at the Luxor this weekend after reading the mostly positive reviews here, and am very happy I did. Most of the hotels on the strip are overrun with children and babies and extremely overwhelming, not the Luxor. It's sleek, relaxing, modern, and the Egyptian theme is not as overwhelming as you might think.
