I was very VERY DISAPPOINTED with my experience here. It was my first time in a salon in San Diego and I saw that Dario Salon had a lot of good reviews on Citysearch. However, when I went in at my appointed time, i had to wait an hour before Dario even came up to me to look at my hair. He quoted me a price for highlights and a cut, which I thought was high but decided to go ahead with it since Dario was supposed to be really good. However, it was his assistant that worked on my hair the entire time. She highlighted it, shampooed it and blow-dryed it. Dario only cut my hair. AND THE ENTIRE PROCESS TOOK 7 HOURS because THEY OVERBOOKED and were working on other customers in between my appt. I thought the entire experience was VERY UNPROFESSIONAL since it was Dario who quoted me a price and he did not even work on my hair. To top it off, the color has started to wash out a couple washes later. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS SALON TO ANYONE.
