Since my first visit just a few months ago, Wilde Roast has quickly become my new favorite place to meet up with friends for a good catching up session. The layout and choice of seating really encourage Wilde's patrons to sit and chat for hours upon end. It's warm and inviting, the drinks and desserts are fabulous (don't miss the pumpkin pie! It's simple, but so good!), and the food is for the most part very good. Despite a few minor disappointments, I've found that both their Reuben and artichoke dip are the best in town; the Reuben is not in the least greasy and the sauerkraut on it is amazing, and the artichoke dip is made with REAL chunks of artichokes, cream, and just the right amount of cheese (versus your too parmasean-y varieties). I was slightly disappointed by their version of the French dip (I don't understand the mayo on it) and the grilled cheese could have used a salty ingredient - but all the ingredients were fresh and in good proportion.
