We called General Plumbing and Heating Co to fix our garbage disposal, which had suddenly stopped working. The plumber who arrived flipped the garbage disposal switch, then tried hitting the reset button, and when these things failed to create desired effect, told me that the disposal needed to be replaced. Ok, I tried that much myself, but maybe sometimes replacement is better/cheaper/more efficient than actually fixing... or actually attempting to,,,.
