We stumbled on Cafe Gutenberg during a weekend stay in Richmond- and have to say it was definitely the culinary highlight of the trip, if not the overall highlight. The loveliness of the setting (cozy tables and booklined walls) was matched with delicious food. The fried green tomatoes with hearty breading, and the grilled corn salad that accompanied it, was wonderful, as was the cheese plate served with crackers, apricot spread, and grapes. This place is a gem.
