We went on the same night as Ann P (review below). I'm nearly positive we were two tables over. Yes, smoke and service were an issue that night. Turns out the smoke was due to a fan malfunction and service was due to new staff. How do I know this? The owner called us the next day (number was on our reservation), apologized for problems and credited us back for our dinner. I thought both the call and credit were nice gestures. He obviously cares.\r

Speaking with him (twice now), I do not get the idea that he's egotistical, as one review suggested. I think the kitchen cams are probably driven more by a desire to do something different, not to show-off. That said, I'd lose them. Not only are they bright, they're unviewable from many parts of the room (detail is too small). \r

We did not end-up having much, for a variety of reasons, but what we had was good (lamb shank and hearts of palm salad). My only criticism would be that the arugula on the salad came completely undressed (the rest was dressed)...The goat cheese truffle on the salad was tiny (marble sized), but really good and really truffle-y. Generally, the appetizers are big and the entree's we saw were good sized.\r

The wine list was very broad and reasonably priced with many interesting wines I had not had before. You can order anything under $40 a bottle, by the glass. We did and tried four different wines. All were very good. \r

We're going back on what is hopefully a 'normal' night and will review again. I'm giving it an average for now as there were several ups and downs besides the issues of the night, but it seems promising.
Pros: Wine List, Appetizer Size
Cons: Service, Music Volume (sometimes...), 'Chef Cams'
