What a find! We spent about two hours at Silver Sake stuffing ourselves and it seemed like the Japanese-restaurant version of ""Friends"". The owners are two youngish brothers that knew most of their customers personally. They were very attentive (if not a little scattered), were super personable and made excellent recommendations. The sushi was great - had a number of inventive rolls and tempura - all were delicious. \r

This is a very unpretentious place (they have photographs of their patrons plastered all over the walls and a tv on in the corner of the restaurant) so if you're looking for the chi-chi sushi scene, it's probably not for you. It's located in a slightly run down strip mall and it's not the type of place I would have just 'dropped in'. BUT! We went because of the high ratings it received here. If you're looking for a inexpensive place with a 'neighborhood feel' and great food - this is it!
Pros: friendly service, unpretentious, inexpensive, delicious food
Cons: located in a strip mall
