I and my friends use to go here when it was the SilverLake Cafe' and have seen it go through several changes. The best was when it first became known as Good. At that time they were very attentive, the waiters were always coming around and very knowledgable. They even were bringing around the daily specials on a rolling cart trying to upsell you on the food. They were allways fun and helpful and the food was excellent. Then the past couple of times we went the food became blander and blander, the service less and less helpful (like waiters dissapearing for 20 minutes at a time in a fairly empty resturant and never finding out how we liked our food). Eventually I and my friends stopped going there. More than a year passed and I and my husband decided to give it a try. No rolling cart of food, the wait staff was luke warm in attitude. We inquired about the weekly speicals they have listed and clearly states 'ask our waiter for details'. The waiter informed us he didn't know about those certain specials on those days because he didn't work those days. He didn't take the hint that he could find out for us from someone else. We were told we were ordering from the Lunch menu as it was before 5pm. My meal was charged the dinner menu price once we got the bill. The food was blander than ever and we even ordered a side dish of vegetables since neither of our dishes seemed to have any sides on them (the vegetables were the best part of our meals). The beer was good (I think that is the only thing that keeps people coming in) It became dark outside and the wait staff lit the single candle on each table and then proceeded to turn the lights down to very dim. Several people complained on not being able to read or how dark it was in there...but the staff didn't turn the lights up at all. We gave the resturant a fair shake...but this is the very last time we will ever go there again. Too bad the management doesnt seem to care any more.
