Arrived about 5pm on the restaurant's 8th anniversary and was welcomed instantly. We had come to Ruchi's planning on using the Entertainment Book coupon, only to discover that the owners had set out a huge buffet in celebration of their 8 years in business. While we were invited to choose from the buffet, when we declined, the owner went out of his way to make the dishes we ordered from the regular menu from scratch. This was a large imposition as the restaurant was set up to only serve from the buffet. We were assured that our request was No Problem, and if fact we found that to be true. The food was delicious, the service prompt, and to our delight, the owner went to the buffet and filled a plate with various appetizers for us, delivered it personally and asked that we enjoy - oh, and it was his ""treat"". Will we go back there, absolutely - we've been going there for several years - but it's the small little touches by an owner that truly cares about his customers and wants them to enjoy their dining experience that keep bringing us back. I still recall that on our first visit several years ago, as we were ready to leave, the owner brougt over a to-go container with some of Ruchi's famous Butter Chicken. He just wanted us to try it and expressed his thanks for our dining with him. What a great level of customer service. Dine at Ruchi - you'll be extremely pleased that you did.
