Best dog boarding in the greater Seattle area 9/24/2006

If you love your dog, and want him/her treated the same way you would care for him/her while you have to be out of town, this is the place to board 'em. They take a very small number of dogs, boarding in their great barn with heated indoor and attached outdoor dogruns. Dogs get a daily 'hike' through the onsite woods, and two daily playtimes. If the dog gets on well with other dogs, the staff will make 'play dates' for them, when they get to be off leash to play. If there are no suitable furry companions for them to play with, the staff will throw toys and generally play with them in the offleash areas (well secured with double layer fences). There are two, one for small & one for large dogs. Guy is wonderful in getting to know your dogs & their behaviors. Rena makes home cooked meals for them, and you can choose your own food, the home cooked or a mixture. They will administer meds if needed. Heated beds are availble, when necessary - and they'll even string two together for those with large breeds. Rates are very reasonable, but they're rather popular with the regulars, so book early. And the best? They'll EMAIL you picturess of your loved one frolicking so you don't miss them! We all love Roscoe's ranch. Pros: Great care, Dog LOVES it, Don't feel guilty while on vacation Cons: Out of town, near Maltby cafe more
